Pricing, Logistics & Taxes
Ensure your listings strictly comply with PETRONAS procurement and shipping guidelines.
Tax & Pricing Structure
- All listed product pricing must include your relevant tax rates.
Domestic Shipping Fees
- You may set different shipping percentage rates for each individual state.
- Standard shipping fees can be inserted up to a maximum cap of 3% of the unit price to ensure rates stay within acceptable limits.
- Need to charge more than 3%? You must contact the Customer Service team for a valid business reason and supporting documentation for review.
International Orders: Mandatory DDP Policy
For all international purchases, merchants must follow the Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) policy.
The Requirement
The supplier is fully responsible for handling the entire shipping process and paying all upfront expenses. The shipment must arrive at the project site or warehouse with no outstanding fees, duties, or clearance costs left for the buyer to pay.
| Expense Category | Covered by Merchant |
|---|---|
| Packaging & Export Clearance | |
| International Shipping Fees | |
| Shipping Insurance | |
| Import Duties and Taxes | |
| Custom Fees |
How to Manage DDP Costs
Merchants may choose how to recover duties and tax expenses based on their preferred billing structure:
Add the duty and tax costs to the shipping line item, provided the total shipping fee remains within 3% of the item price.
Incorporate the total cost of duties and taxes directly into the unit price of the product for a single, "all-in" price.
